Storage and cross-dock can be the right answer between an inbound container and a set of LTL deliveries. Portlandia Logistics coordinates that step through contracted facilities — it does not own or operate a warehouse, and this page says so before the quote.
What we actually coordinate
We book the facility slot, move the freight in and out, and keep the inventory movement attached to the load record. That covers a short cross-dock between an inbound trailer and outbound LTL, a hold while a receiving window opens, and a transload from an import container into domestic equipment.
How it is priced
Storage and handling are quoted per movement with the facility's charges passed through and named, plus the transportation legs. There is no invented per-pallet storage rate on this site because we do not publish a rate we cannot honour at a facility we do not control.
When it is the wrong fit
If you need a dedicated multi-week warehouse program with inventory systems, cycle counts or a facility under your own insurance, that is a 3PL warehouse operator — not a freight desk. We will say so and, where we can, point you at the requirement rather than pretend to cover it.
